Conflict-of-interest CoI
A reviewer or evaluator is said to have a CoI with a paper, if his/her relation to the authors of a paper may bias opinion. This can be good friends, same institutions, competitors, etc
Technical Committee TC
Group of senior researchers responsible for the long time development of a conference.
Technical Program Committee TPC
The body carrying out the evaluation process of papers and deciding collectively on which to select.
Chair of the Technical Program Committee TPC chair
Person selected (typical by a Technical Committee) to be responsible for the paper evaluation process for a particular year.
